The founder of MFD is Susette Jaquette, wife of farmer Dave Steinhauser (Steinhauser Farms). Ironically, Susette kept her maiden name and chose not to be a Mrs. However, she fell in love with the title of Mrs. Farmer Dave when a local brewery worker gave her the name.
Mrs. Farmer Dave’s mission is to educate people about growing, preparing and buying high quality food.
