Seed Catalogs are a Useful Resource

I always love the beginning of January when the seed catalogs start arriving. There is something about leafing through a seed catalog on a freezing cold January day that gets you in the mood to garden.

There are many reputable seed companies, however some provide better resources than others. Johnny’s catalog is a well organized, gold mine of information. I especially like the heirloom tomato descriptions, including pictures of each variety. You will find their prices on the higher end but their quality and customer service are excellent.
